Exciting news fellow residents! 

 

On Friday, June 18, 2021, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, Orange County Commissioner District 2 Christine Moore, and the County Utilities Engineering Department will hold a news conference/groundbreaking event regarding our Septic to Sewer Conversion at 11:30 a.m. on Northfield Drive.

 

Beginning Thursday, June 17, at 10:30 a.m. through Friday, June 18 at  3:00 p.m., the Welch Road gate and Northfield Drive will be closed to normal traffic.  

 

All Sweetwater West Residents are invited to attend this event in person. The county will also send us a link to watch the event virtually!  Parking will be tight on that day.  We appreciate everyone’s assistance on Thursday, June 17, 2021 and on Friday, June 18, 2021 especially between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.   

 

Please remember, if you would normally use the Welch Road gate, you will need to use the main gate off Wekiva Springs Rd. on Thursday, June 17 from 10:30 a.m. through Friday, June 18, 2021 until 3:00 p.m.  This gate will be closed to traffic on Thursday, June 17 in preparation for this event.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
