If you have a high water bill resulting from a break due to construction, please reach out to me for an
Orange County Utilities Leak Adjustment form. As there was an unexpected delay in the installation of the
requested irrigation meters, impacted customers will receive a credit on their account for the estimated
usage during this delay. The credit will be calculated based on a three-month average consumption
utilizing the new irrigation meter. Irrigation and plumbing repairs by a specialist will not be reimbursed.

and grading for sod. The soil in your yard will not be evened out until grading. Sod is currently being
installed. The watering truck continues to water the new sod. Also, repairs as required are in process.

the restoration plan will address each home individually in turn, unless there is an urgent issue. The Orange

A second crew has been added for irrigation meter installation and connections continue. Some homes will require more digging than others to hook up the existing irrigation systems. The crew is hand digging unless machinery is needed to go deeper. The meter installation process may take as little as 1-2 hours or up to a half day per home depending on the yard.

Please note that there is an inspection that needs to take place after the irrigation system is hooked up to the meter box before that irrigation meter can be placed in the box. During this time your irrigation will not work. If your irrigation timer goes off, it will not harm the system.

The sod contractor will be installing sod after your yard has been graded and the irrigation meter installed. Homes without irrigation meters will receive sod first. The side streets and cul-de-sac streets will be sodded next.

filling septic tanks. There are less than 16 tanks left to fill. Also, inspections will occur, and crews will
continue filling in holes and grading for sod. The sod contractor will be measuring yards to order sod the
various types of sod.

TRASH PICKUP: If construction activity on your street could inhibit the trash truck, you may want to move
the container to facilitate access. The construction team has been helping with this as well. If you are
concerned about container mix-ups, you may want to mark your container for easy identification. I was
told each container should have a unique serial number.
If your trash, recycling, or yard waste is missed, please call the Orange County Solid Waste Hotline at
407-836-6601 to request a pickup. Issues may also be reported via Orange County’s 311 phone number.

Concrete work will also take place on a few driveways. If this impacts your home, you will be notified to move your car (if you need it) and wait at least 12 hours for the concrete to cure before driving over the new concrete.

IRRIGATION UPDATE: Irrigation meter installation and connections continue. Some homes will require more digging than others to hook up the existing irrigation systems. This is to be expected, as each home is unique in its irrigation set-up.

As requested, there will be an irrigation water use rebate for residents who have requested irrigation meters. Orange County Utilities has sent out a letter with the details.

Week of August 13, 2023

THIS WEEK: Road work will be ongoing Monday through Saturday. Paving should occur on Longhill Drive,
Sweetwater West Circle at Branch Hill Drive, and all cul-de-sacs. Throughout the neighborhood curb and
sidewalk concrete work will take place and the plumber will continue making service connections and
pumping septic tanks. The contractor will continue the process of filling the tanks with flowable fill material. The material will be
pumped from trucks parked in the street, so driveway access will not be impacted. If water has entered
the tank, it will be re-pumped.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES: Remember, paving is weather-contingent. When road construction is near your
home, the crew will alert you to move your vehicle if vehicle access is needed. After the service

THIS WEEK: Road work will be ongoing Monday through Saturday. Paving should occur on Thursday and
Saturday on Longhill Drive, Sweetwater West Circle at Branch Hill Drive, and all cul-de-sacs. Throughout
the neighborhood curb and sidewalk concrete work will take place and the plumber will continue making
service connections and pumping septic tanks.
The contractor will continue the process of filling the tanks with flowable fill material. The material will be
pumped from trucks parked in the street, so driveway access will not be impacted. If water has entered
the tank, it will be re-pumped.

SOD: The sod contractor will be in the neighborhood to confirm the type of sod needed for each home. It
looks like we will see sod start to be installed before the irrigation meter connections are made. If you

METER BOXES/NEW METER: Lapin Services and Orange County Utilities continue to install new meter
boxes and meters. Advance notice will be given about 30 minutes prior to the water cut-off needed to
make the connection to the new meter. As part of the process, Lapin will turn on the hose spigot to clear
the line of any air or soil that may have entered. After the meter connection, residents should run water
for two minutes through any water line (kitchen and bath) to make sure the line is clear of air and soil.
Forms to sign up for free irrigation meters will be mailed from Orange County Utilities and also emailed
by the HOA within the next few weeks.

SOD: The contractor is waiting for fresher sod but hoping to have it soon. Keep in mind that lawns will be

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: The Northfield entrance/exit gate was reopened on Friday, February 3. The main
entrance gate is no longer needed completely open. It will work as usual starting Sunday, February 5.
THIS WEEK: Work will be ongoing Monday through Saturday. Gravity sewer line construction and cleanout
installation work will take place on Sweetwater West Circle around Hidden Meadow Way. Temporary
asphalt is planned for Barnwood Place. The double-meter installation began. Crews will continue placing
sod next week; homes first impacted by construction will be addressed first. Driveway access may be
impacted at homes located on the following roads:

TRASH PICKUP: If there is construction activity on your street that could inhibit the trash truck, you may

identification. I was told each container should have a unique serial number.

SERVICE CONNECTIONS TO HOMES: Lapin Services installs the sewer line from the cleanout to the
homes. To do this they dig a trench about two feet wide at the homes. Once the pipe has passed testing,
the trench will be backfilled. Prime Construction will sod the area as soon as possible pending sod
delivery. If Lapin Services has reached out to you and you have not yet done so, please complete the

Directional drilling continues on Sweetwater Country Club Drive.

This weekly update is provided to help inform residents of upcoming active work areas. Residents are asked to be aware and use caution and understand this schedule could be affected by weather or other unforeseen conditions.

Next week, crews and equipment will continue working along Sweetwater West Circle from Northfield Drive to just past the Sweetwater Country Club Drive intersection. The contractor plans to begin laying temporary asphalt by sections in this area after pipe testing work is complete. Residents will be alerted if driveway access is impacted. In addition, force main work is planned on Sweetwater Country Club Drive through the Grassy Ridge Lane intersection area. Driveway access at the following properties could be impacted 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.:

Please be advised that the main entrance at Sweetwater Country Club Drive is scheduled to be closed for utility work beginning February 7. At this time, the Northfield Drive entrance will be re-opened for neighborhood entry/exit. The Sweetwater Country Club Drive improvements are scheduled to take an estimated 3 to 4 months.
